Driggs, Idaho, is a small town in the Teton Valley located at the head of the Teton River. The Teton Valley was discovered by John Colter a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, in 1808, and the town of Driggs was founded by Benjamin Woodbury Driggs Jr. and Don Carlos Driggs in 1888. Driggs currently has a population of around 2,000. 

Driggs is sits only 12 miles away from Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, Wyoming. Here you can enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter and mountain biking, day hiking, swimming, and camping in the summer. Around 4,000 climbers a year attempt to summit the Grand Teton, but most only make it up Garnet Canyon to the Lower Saddle, a pass between Grand and Middle Teton.
