Victor, Idaho, is the largest city in Teton County. It was established in 1889 and combined four settlements: Trail Creek, Fox Creek, Chapin, and Cedron. It was named after George Victor Sherwood, a dedicated mail carrier who delivered the mail despite threats of attacks. Victor has a population of around 2,000, and it is located only 24 miles from Jackson, Wyoming.

Another great local experience is Linn Canyon Ranch. This ranch offers horseback rides, gourmet dining, evenings around a fire, and luxurious glamping. In the winter, you can book a horse-drawn sleigh tour of the ranch and dinner. This experience includes warm drinks before the tour and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before the three-course meal.
